Terry states “There are really, there are only 5 types of cases I deal with”.
1 People who are doing something they would rather not be doing.
This includes individuals with addiction related difficulties (e.g. smoking, eating, and drinking).
2. People who are unable to do something they wish to:
This includes: Public speaking, travel in aircraft, cars, buses, dealing with social situations (parties, groups), sexual difficulties, or driving and exam nerves.
3. People suffering from psychosomatic disorders that are stress induced:
I.e. Migraine, irritable bowel syndrome, psoriasis, asthma.
4. People who require help in connection with their professional or sports performance:
Motivation, sales etc.
5. People who are experiencing difficulties with living or any of its component parts.
This can be any or all of us.
These are not fixed categories nor should the above be viewed as restrictive e.g.., sexual problems can appear in the "can’t do" or "can’t stop doing" categories,.
Asthma can be induced by an anxiety attack caused by pressure at work.
An individual may have lost their appetite for work because their weight has caused the development of low self-esteem.
